An advent calendar for tea drinkers: behind the 24 doors there is a different organic tea or organic herbal infusion every day. The range runs from spiced Christmas tea through smoky Lapsang Souchong to a bright green tea with lemon and ginger. The carousel-style box is made of red card with gold embossing, with a lid that folds open and a drawer that pulls out.
Each of the 24 pyramid sachets sits in its own labelled door, so you always know which tea belongs to which day. A magnetic metal rest for the used sachet is included and sticks inside the lid. All the teas are certified organic by Ecocert France, and the calendar is made and filled in France. The box carries the line: 24 jours d'infusions a deguster.
The organic tea advent calendar combines herbal infusions, black teas and green and white tea. The labels are printed with vegetable ink.

The herbal infusions are Christmas Tea, North Pole, Father Christmas, Liquorice-Mint, Winter, Druids, Witches, Chicory-Coffee, Cocoa-Ginger, Nostradamus, Honey-Lavender, Strawberry-Elderberry and Rooibos Apple-Lemongrass. The black teas are Christmas Orange-Cinnamon, Christmas Forest Fruits, smoky Lapsang Souchong, Apple-Orange, Patchouli, Russian Taste, Breakfast and Bergamot. Alongside them come green tea Lemon-Ginger, green tea Lemon-Strawberry and white tea with Christmas spices.
Three recipes in detail: Christmas Tea brings together cinnamon, ginger, hibiscus, liquorice root, rooibos, clove and citrus zest. North Pole mixes apple, fennel, cinnamon, anise, cardamom and chicory. Father Christmas is built on cocoa, turmeric, ginger, liquorice root and cinnamon.
One sachet is enough for 200 ml of water. Pour at 95 to 100 degrees and let the tea steep for 6 to 8 minutes. The sachets are made of biodegradable material. In total the box holds 43.9 g of tea, spread across the 24 pyramid sachets.
Once the tea is ready, place the sachet on the magnetic metal rest, which clings inside the lid of the box and therefore stays where you need it.
As a present, hand the calendar over before 1 December so the first door can be opened on time. The red box with its gold embossing needs no wrapping paper, and the lid simply folds open when you want to show what is inside.
Note down the teas you like best as you go, since the doors are labelled and easy to find again. If you drink together, share the 200 ml between two small cups. After 24 December the pull-out drawer still works as storage.
