The ingredients are printed on the back as well. Thé Noir Earl Grey is Assam black tea with bergamot extract, Thé Vert Jasmin is Chinese green tea with jasmine flowers. Tisane Verveine Citron brings together verbena, lemon peel, ginger, turmeric and elderberry, while Rooibos Cinnamon Roll adds apple, cinnamon, ginger, blackberry leaves, rosehip, a cinnamon stick, whole star anise, roasted buckwheat and a little sugar gingerbread man to the rooibos.

The bags are not all cut the same way. The manufacturer photos show a mushroom, a moon, a rabbit and a teddy bear among others, some with illustrated tags on the string. According to the manufacturer they are made by hand in France.

The back of the box says to keep the calendar protected from light and moisture, so not next to the cooker or on a sunny windowsill. If you are giving it away, take a look at the allergen information first: individual blends contain almond, coconut, milk, butter, yoghurt, hazelnut and pistachio, and traces of gluten, soy and other nuts are possible.
