This tea advent calendar for 2026 is made for anyone who would rather brew a cup of tea in December than unwrap chocolate. Behind the 24 doors there is a different tea every day, and on five of the days an extra surprise comes with it. The selection runs from fruit and herbal teas through green tea and white tea to rooibos, many of them in organic quality.
The calendar is generously sized and stands on its own: 37 x 29 x 9 cm in strong cardboard, so it finds a place on the sideboard, the kitchen table or the office desk. Each tea sits individually and airtight in a large-volume pyramid bag, and information on ingredients and preparation is included. The calendar is made in Germany.
Every door opens an individually designed box. Inside is the tea of the day, together with pre-Christmas inspiration and a Christmas checklist for the preparations leading up to 24 December. On five of the days a further surprise sits next to the tea, so the sequence never becomes entirely predictable.

The pyramid bags are cut with plenty of volume, so the tea has room to unfold. Through the bag you can see the structure of the tea and its ingredients. One bag is enough for a large cup or a small teapot.
Every tea comes individually and airtight in its own bag. Most of the pyramid bags are compostable according to the manufacturer.
According to the manufacturer the calendar is intended as a family advent calendar and as a corporate gift. At home the tea of the day can be shared: brewed in a small teapot, it fills several small cups for the evening.
As a gift for clients or staff it works because it needs nothing but hot water and can stand on a desk. It also suits St Nicholas day or an early Christmas surprise before 1 December.
Put the calendar somewhere visible before 1 December, for example next to the kettle, so opening the doors becomes a fixed morning or evening ritual. Check the enclosed notes on ingredients and preparation before you pour: green tea and white tea are brewed differently from fruit or herbal blends.
