This tea gift comes in a pink Christmas stocking and holds eight organic tea bags: four winter blends, each of them twice. It is small enough to sit on a plate of advent treats and bright enough to stand out among all the red and gold.
The stocking has a built-in loop, so you can hang it straight on the tree, on a branch or on a door handle instead of wrapping it. All ingredients come from certified organic farming, the blends are vegan, and the English Tea Shop stocking is only available in the Christmas season. If you are looking for a small organic tea gift for Christmas, this is it.
Eight tea bags, four blends, each one twice. That way you can try every blend once and come back to your favourite a second time, without committing to a large box first.
- 8 organic tea bags in four winter blends
- Each blend included twice
- Winter Apple with apple and cinnamon
- Santa's Cinnamon Sleigh with black tea and cinnamon
- Mrs. Claus Berry Hug with rooibos and berries
- Frosty's Fruity Carnival with citrus, peach and passion fruit
- All ingredients from certified organic farming, vegan
- Stocking with a built-in loop for hanging
- Origin: Sri Lanka
Winter Apple pairs apple with cinnamon, exactly the combination you know from Christmas baking. Santa's Cinnamon Sleigh combines black tea with cinnamon. Mrs. Claus Berry Hug brings rooibos together with berries. And Frosty's Fruity Carnival adds a bright, fruity note to winter with citrus, peach and passion fruit. Between them the four blends range from spiced to fruity, and working through them is part of the gift.
The set is made for anyone who likes tea and cares about organic ingredients. Because it is small, it works well as a Saint Nicholas gift, as a Secret Santa present in the office or as something to bring along when you are invited somewhere during advent. It also sits nicely alongside a bigger present, next to a mug or a book. As all blends are vegan, nobody has to be left out. And if you enjoy tasting your way through several blends yourself, simply keep the stocking.
Use the loop. On a branch, on the tree or on a coat rack the pack turns into a piece of decoration, and you can skip the wrapping paper altogether. If you are handing out several stockings, write the name of each person on a small gift tag and hang it from the same loop.
For a homemade advent calendar you can also split the eight bags up, one per day. Make a note of which blend you liked best as you go. You can also hand over the stocking together with two mugs, so the first pot for two is already planned. And since the stockings are only around at Christmas, it is worth keeping a couple in reserve for spontaneous occasions.
