A tea infuser shaped like a Christmas tree turns an ordinary mug of loose leaf tea into a small festive moment. The tree has a gold colour, comes with a chain and measures around 8.5 cm in height without the chain and about 5 cm across. At 20 g it weighs very little, and the chain gives you something to hold when you lift it out of the cup.
The infuser is made for everyone who prefers loose leaf tea to tea bags and likes something seasonal on the table through December. As a gold tea strainer it also works as a small present for St Nicholas Day, for a Secret Santa exchange or tucked in beside a packet of tea. The tree is made of 304 stainless steel and produced in China.
The key details in short, so you know exactly what you get:
- Tea infuser in a festive Christmas tree shape with chain
- Colour: gold
- Material: 304 stainless steel
- Height without chain approx. 8.5 cm
- Width approx. 5 cm
- Weight 20 g
- For loose leaf tea
- Origin: China
The silhouette reads clearly as a fir tree, with the gold colour providing the festive note. Stainless steel is one of the common materials for tea accessories in the kitchen.
The routine is simple. Fill the infuser with loose leaf tea, place it in your cup, pour hot water over it and let the tea brew. Then lift the little tree out again by its chain and drink.
How long you brew depends on the tea itself. Green tea usually needs less time in the cup than a strong black tea or a herbal blend. Follow the guidance on the packet and adjust from there until you find the strength you like best in your favourite varieties.
The gold tree is an obvious little something for the run-up to Christmas. Paired with a bag of loose leaf tea it makes a thoughtful small parcel that costs little yet feels personal, whether at the office, within the family or for Secret Santa. It also slips easily into a shoe or sack on St Nicholas Day.
When the infuser is not in use, its chain lets you hang it on the Christmas tree, on an Advent wreath or from a branch. That way it stays part of the decoration until the next cup is due. If you are giving it away, the chain doubles as the fastening that attaches the tree to a parcel or a sprig of greenery.
Wash the infuser by hand, as it is not suitable for the dishwasher. It does not belong in the microwave either, neither for heating water nor for reheating tea.
For storage, use the chain: hanging from a hook in the kitchen, beside your tea shelf or simply back on the tree, the little fir stays within reach instead of disappearing into a drawer. If you brew a cup every morning in December, that keeps it right where you need it.
What is the tea infuser for? It is made for loose leaf tea: fill it, place it in the cup, pour over hot water and let it brew.
How big is the little tree? Without the chain it is around 8.5 cm tall and about 5 cm wide. It weighs 20 g.
What is the infuser made of? Of 304 stainless steel in a gold colour. It is made in China.
Can it go in the dishwasher or the microwave? No, neither is intended. Clean it by hand instead.
Does it work as a small gift? Yes, it suits Christmas, Advent, St Nicholas Day and Secret Santa, especially together with a packet of loose leaf tea.
