- 1 block of high-quality, air-drying clay for shaping and modelling
- 5 clay tools for shaping, carving and detailing
- 1 bottle of white acrylic basecoat
- 5 acrylic paints: red, yellow, pink, light blue and blue
- 1 gloss varnish, 2 brushes, 1 sponge
- Detailed step-by-step instructions
- Recommended age: 14 years and up, younger children only with adults
- Weight: 1.68 kg
- Warning: clay and paints can stain materials and surfaces — cover your work surface
First cover your work surface, because clay and paints can leave stains. Then take a piece of clay, shape and model your piece and work out the details with the five tools. Let the clay dry in the air, then apply the white basecoat and paint your piece with the acrylic paints. Finally, the gloss varnish provides protection and shine. The step-by-step instructions guide you through every stage.
- Start with simple shapes like small bowls and work your way up
- Do not skip the white basecoat — it makes the colours shine
- Use the sponge for soft colour gradients and textures
- Let the paints dry well before you apply the varnish
Included in the set: 1 block of air-drying clay, 5 clay tools, 1 bottle of white acrylic basecoat, 5 acrylic paints (red, yellow, pink, light blue, blue), 1 gloss varnish, 2 brushes, 1 sponge and detailed instructions. Clean tools and brushes after use and store opened clay airtight so it stays workable.
Do I need a kiln?
No. The clay dries in the air — you need neither a kiln nor special equipment.
Is the set really suitable for beginners?
Yes, the detailed step-by-step instructions guide you from the first shape to the finished, varnished piece.
Which colours are included?
Five acrylic paints: red, yellow, pink, light blue and blue — plus a white basecoat and a gloss varnish.
From what age is the set suitable?
The manufacturer recommends 14 years and up. Younger creatives work best together with adults.
Do I have to protect my work surface?
Yes. Clay and paints can stain materials and surfaces — so cover your work surface before you start.
What is the white basecoat for?
The basecoat ensures that the acrylic paints really shine on the clay.
