This Christmas candle kit is a DIY candle set you roll by hand. The box holds wax sheets in several colours with a honeycomb finish, a roll of white wick and a set of instructions. No pan, no stove and no mould: you lay the wick along the edge of a sheet and roll the sheet up around it. What comes out looks handmade, because it is. The kit is made in China.
The packaging shows how far this can go: a snowman with a top hat, a Father Christmas, a fir tree with a star and a present with a bow, all rolled from wax sheets. With pink, red, orange/yellow, green, white and black in the box, you have the colours for designs like these. The set comes in a kraft card box with a carry handle and can be passed on exactly as it is.
The contents are quickly listed, as printed on the packaging: wax sheets, wick and instructions. The packaging carries the English wording «Christmas Beewax Candle DIY Kit» together with the note «Include: various colors of beewax with core, instruction». The sheets have a honeycomb look, as shown in the manufacturer's product photo.

Rolled candles are the calmest way to make your own. You place the wick along one edge of a wax sheet and roll the sheet around it. A flat sheet turns into a candle body, with no molten wax involved.
If you would rather build figures, work with several colours the way the sample designs on the box do: white for the snowman's body, black for his top hat, red for Father Christmas, green for the fir tree, pink or orange for a bow and small details. A set of instructions is part of the contents.
The kit fits families who want to make something together and craft fans who like to start without lengthy preparation. Candle lovers get something out of it too, since the evening ends with a candle they rolled themselves.
During Advent it fills a winter afternoon, it works as a small gift when visiting, and for a Secret Santa exchange the carry handle means it barely needs wrapping. Finished candles can be given away in turn, for example alongside a plate of biscuits.
A few small habits make the afternoon run more smoothly.
Lay the colours out side by side before you start, so you can see which combination your design needs. For a snowman, a Father Christmas or a fir tree, the sample designs on the packaging are worth a look. For gifting, simply leave the set in its kraft card box: at a Secret Santa exchange the carry handle almost replaces the wrapping paper. Never leave a burning candle unattended, including the ones you rolled yourself.
