This aromatic herbs growing kit packs six kitchen classics into one box: organic seeds, sowing material and an instruction booklet. You sow small-seeded coriander, flat-leaf parsley, chives, large-leaf basil, oregano and winter thyme yourself, so the herbs end up right where you cook.
The six varieties bring flavour and colour to your dishes and help protect the vegetable patch from unwanted insects. They find a spot in a bed, in a balcony planter or on the windowsill. The kit suits anyone starting out with gardening or expanding an existing herb corner: it covers sowing, care and what the plants contribute to biodiversity.
The seeds are organic and reproducible, so you can collect seed from the plants again. Alongside them comes the material for the start: coco pellets as the growing medium, garden labels, straw and the themed booklet. Everything arrives in a reusable organic cotton bag. If supply is short, the manufacturer may replace a variety with a similar one.
- Small-seeded coriander, 150 seeds
- Flat-leaf parsley, 2 g
- Chives, 1 g
- Large-leaf basil, 200 seeds
- Oregano, 1,000 seeds
- Winter thyme, 300 seeds
- Coco pellets, biodegradable
- Garden labels, wood from sustainably managed forests
- Straw, usable in permaculture
- Themed instruction booklet
- Reusable organic cotton bag, 25 x 30 cm
- Kit size 30 x 25 x 5 cm, weight approx. 250 g
- Made and assembled in France
The coco pellets are the growing medium: you set the seeds into them and raise the young plants before moving them on to a pot, a planter or a bed. Write the variety on the garden labels so coriander and parsley are not mixed up at the seedling stage. The straw can be used in permaculture.
The booklet explains sowing, care and the role of the six aromatic plants in the vegetable patch. On the back of each seed packet you will find access to the maker's free app, which offers tutorials for every variety and personal follow-up for your patch.
The cardboard is unprinted and compostable, paper and cardboard are FSC-certified, and the wood comes from sustainably managed forests. The kit is supplied without plastic. The organic cotton bag measures 25 x 30 cm and stays in use once unpacked. At 30 x 25 x 5 cm and around 250 g, the whole kit is flat and light.
Label the markers as soon as the seeds are in the pellets, and place the young plants where you will see them while cooking. Because the seed is reproducible, you can take seed from the strongest plants for the next season.
As a gift the kit fits the start of spring, a move into a flat with a balcony, or the birthday of someone who likes to cook. The cotton bag replaces gift wrapping and carries on as a bag afterwards. The booklet keeps the kit approachable for first-time gardeners.
