How long until the first shoots appear? First shoots show after 2 to 4 weeks. Scatter the seeds on the surface and press them down only lightly, as lavender needs light to germinate.
Where should I put the lavender? Somewhere bright and warm at 18–22 °C, sun welcome. Indoors it works all year on the windowsill, and from May you can move the jar to the balcony or terrace.
How much water does the plant need? Not much. Mist it evenly with a spray bottle and avoid waterlogging, dry is better than soggy.
