Garden Pocket Indoor Lavender Growing Kit — grow lavender indoors all year round and let the unmistakable fragrance fill your home. A living, natural alternative to chemical air fresheners — and a decorative slice of Provence on the windowsill.
Lavender has been treasured for centuries for its scent, beauty and even its culinary versatility. From Mediterranean summer dreams to soothing evening calm, from kitchen aromatics (lavender honey, crème brûlée, tea) to natural sleep aid in a pouch under the pillow — the plant is a true all-rounder with character.
The elegant glass jar with screw lid also makes this growing kit a wonderful gift. Just fill in the soil, insert the fertiliser nails, sow the seeds, water regularly and pick a bright spot — the first delicate shoots appear within weeks.
- Glass pot with screw lid
- Special organic soil mix
- 2 organic fertiliser nails
- Lavender seeds
- Simple sowing and care instructions
- Prepare soil: Fill organic soil into the glass jar, press lightly
- Insert fertiliser: Push the 2 organic fertiliser nails into the soil
- Sow: Scatter lavender seeds on top, press lightly only (light germinator)
- Moisten: Spray evenly with bottle, avoid waterlogging
- Location: Bright and warm (18–22 °C), sun welcome
- Germination: First shoots appear after 2–4 weeks
- Lavender likes lean soil — don't over-fertilise or aroma suffers
- Water sparingly, prefer dry to wet — lavender comes from the Mediterranean
- From May, move outside if possible — sun intensifies fragrance
- Harvest buds at early flowering, air-dry, place in pouches under pillow
- Perfect gift for nature lovers, garden fans and hobby cooks
- Packaging: Glass jar with screw lid, approx 8 × 12 cm
- Contents: organic soil, 2 fertiliser nails, lavender seeds, guide
- Indoor: all year on the windowsill
- Made in Spain
What's included in the grow kit? A glass pot with screw lid, a special organic soil mix, 2 organic fertiliser nails, lavender seeds and simple sowing and care instructions.
How big is the jar? The glass jar with screw lid measures approx. 8 x 12 cm.
How long until the first shoots appear? First shoots show after 2 to 4 weeks. Scatter the seeds on the surface and press them down only lightly, as lavender needs light to germinate.
Where should I put the lavender? Somewhere bright and warm at 18–22 °C, sun welcome. Indoors it works all year on the windowsill, and from May you can move the jar to the balcony or terrace.
How much water does the plant need? Not much. Mist it evenly with a spray bottle and avoid waterlogging, dry is better than soggy.
Who is this kit a good gift for? Nature lovers, garden fans and hobby cooks. The glass jar with screw lid makes it easy to give as a present.
Garden Pocket is a Spanish family business from Murcia that has been developing growing and garden kits since 2013. What started with the idea of growing edible mushrooms on coffee grounds has evolved into a varied range: seed tins, cork growing pots, hydroponic sets and urban mini-gardens for every household — regardless of space or experience. Garden Pocket stands for ecological materials, tested organic seeds and the mission to bring the joy of home growing into every home.
