This pack holds 25 colourful flower seed bombs that bring colour to places where there was only bare soil. The little balls are made of soil, clay and seeds and are coloured with harmless paint. Each one measures about 1.5 cm across and weighs about 2 g, and together they sit in a slim pack with a brightly printed flower design and the word Blumenmurmeln on it.
Inside the balls there is a mix of 19 different flower seeds, among them corn poppy, cornflower, oxeye daisy and baby's breath. You need no gardening knowledge and no preparation: throw them out, wait for the next rain or help along with a watering can. The flower seed bombs are made in Germany.
The pack is 11.2 cm long with a diameter of 3.7 cm, and filled with the 25 balls it weighs 65 g. That makes it small enough for a coat pocket, and the colourful flower design is ready to hand over as it is.
- 25 colourful flower seed bombs in various colours
- One ball: about 1.5 cm in diameter, about 2 g
- Mix of 19 different flower seeds
- Seeds of non-toxic plants only
- Made of soil, clay and seeds, coloured with harmless paint
- Pack: 11.2 cm long, 3.7 cm in diameter
- Weight of the filled pack: 65 g
- Keeps for at least 2 years
- Made in Germany
The idea could hardly be simpler: throw a ball out, wait for the next rain or reach for the watering can, then enjoy the result. In a short time colourful flowers grow from the colourful balls. No tools and no experience needed, just a patch you would like to see brighter: a bed, a balcony box or a bare corner of your own garden.
The mix contains 19 different flower seeds, among them cornflower, viper's bugloss, globe thistle, white baby's breath, bitter candytuft, Virginia stock, sweet rocket, red-cupped evening primrose, corn poppy, Californian poppy, phacelia and oxeye daisy. Only seeds of non-toxic plants are used.
The little pack is a small present that lasts longer than a bunch in a vase. Keen gardeners and families like it, and so does anyone who wants to make waste ground, a balcony or a garden more colourful. It works as a wedding favour and as a present for a children's birthday, a nursery farewell, the first day of school, Easter or Mother's Day. It also fits into a DIY gift set with other garden bits.
The seed bombs keep for at least 2 years, so you need not use them all in one season. Put them where you garden yourself: your own bed, a balcony box or a bare patch in the garden. If the rain stays away for a while, help along with a watering can. For a wedding you can line up several packs as favours at once, and a ribbon and tag turn one into a finished gift. For a children's birthday, one pack per guest sends everyone home with future flowers.
