This wish fulfiller is a small gift with a wish inside: a glass with a cork lid holding one whole real dandelion. The seed head carries over 100 seed parachutes on average, so over 100 wishes to pass on. At 12 cm tall overall, the little jar fits on a windowsill, a desk or a shelf.
The idea behind it is quickly told: close your eyes, think hard about one wish and blow. It holds the feeling of carefree childhood days. It stands for a good wish you send along with someone you care about, and afterwards it stays in view as a lucky charm. The dandelion itself stays inside the glass, so the blowing happens in your mind.
The cork-topped glass sits on a card base in front of a card printed with the word Wunscherfüller, a dandelion motif and the brand logo. The print is in German, so the little jar arrives already presented. Card and base are made of natural kraft paper, PEFC certified, and the wish fulfiller is packed to resist breakage.

The dandelions are picked by hand in meadows in and around Nordhorn in northern Germany and placed into the little jars by hand. Preservatives are deliberately left out, so what sits in the glass is exactly what grew in the meadow.
The wish fulfiller is made in Germany, and the product is created in cooperation with the local Lebenshilfe organisation.
The wish fulfiller works wherever a few good wishes say more than a large present: for a birthday, for the couple at a wedding, as a gift for your hosts, as a lucky charm, as a farewell token or as a small thank you. It is meant for friends, family and anyone you sincerely want to wish well, and it works just as nicely with no particular reason.
Keep the wish fulfiller out of direct sunlight so it stays lovely for a long time. A spot on a shelf, a bedside table or next to a screen is enough, with the card turned forwards.
When you hand it over, the gift lands best if you say which wish you are sending along. On a wedding or birthday table you can set out one jar per guest. At 60 g the jar weighs almost nothing and still slips into a gift bag that is already full.
What is inside the glass? One whole real dandelion seed head with over 100 seed parachutes on average, in a glass with a cork lid.
Can you blow the dandelion? It is a decorative gift and the dandelion stays in the glass. The blowing is meant as the idea: eyes closed, one wish in mind.
How big is the wish fulfiller? It is 12 cm tall in total, the base measures 7 x 5.5 cm and the glass is 7.5 cm tall with a diameter of 4.5 cm. It weighs 60 g.
How does the dandelion get into the glass? It is picked by hand in meadows in and around Nordhorn and packed into the jar by hand, without preservatives.
Where should the wish fulfiller stand? In a spot without direct sunlight, so that it stays lovely for a long time.
Die Stadtgärtner were founded in 2011 in Nordhorn, northern Germany. It all began with three friends and their favourite colour, green – and one goal: to make the world a little more colourful. The brand stands for seed bombs, flower marbles, seeds and small nature gifts to plant, throw and give, lovingly packaged. Many of the products are handmade and packed in sheltered workshops for people with disabilities in Germany.
