- Spiral: Pinch the fabric in the centre, twist it and divide into segments with rubber bands – dye each segment a different colour.
- Bullseye: Lift one point and tie the fabric below it several times, then dye from the inside out.
- Stripes: Fold the fabric like an accordion and tie across.
