In needle felting you push a felting needle through loose wool again and again. The tiny barbs near the tip catch single fibres and tangle them with each other, so the wool becomes denser, firmer and easy to shape. The technique itself calls for neither glue nor water.
The kit brings the polystyrene shapes as the core of the figures, plus the felting wool for caps, dots and faces: red and white for the toadstool, brown for the third mushroom, along with yellow, pink and black. Instructions are included, and a sewing needle and thread round off the tools.
