Christmas Helpers Advent Calendar Craft Kit
This product will be released on 15 September 2026
The Christmas Helpers advent calendar turns 24 plain paper bags into an entire festive workforce: Santa, reindeer, penguin, polar bear, gingerbread man and elf all get hats, scarves, beards and buttons. Every part is die-cut – you simply press it out and attach it with the adhesive dots supplied. No scissors, no glue, no ragged edges.
Once assembled, the figures stand up by themselves thanks to their folded base and can be lined up on a sideboard, placed on a window sill or gathered in a basket. Because each bag gets its own face, the finished calendar doesn't look mass-produced – it looks like a small crew waiting for Christmas together.
- 24 paper bags (9 x 20 x 5.5 cm) in 6 designs, 4 of each
- 8 die-cut sheets in 2 designs with faces, hats and scarves
- 1 sticker sheet with golden numbers from 1 to 24
- 24 double-sided adhesive dots for sealing
- No scissors and no glue required
- Fill it yourself; the figures stand on their own
First press the die-cut parts out of the sheets – fingers are enough, the perforation gives way cleanly. Then attach head, hat, scarf and arms to the bag. Because the pieces are larger than in many craft sets, children manage them without practised fine motor skills.
Filling comes last: fill the bag, fold the top over, add an adhesive dot. If you want to keep the figures, close the bags with a clothes peg instead – they then stay intact and can be used again next year.
- Build the figures together with the children one afternoon – the assembly is part of the anticipation, not just preparation.
- Place the golden number centrally on the body so the face stays clear and the character reads properly.
- Sweets, small figures, hair clips, stickers or vouchers all work well. Very heavy fillings make the bag tip – keep those flat.
- Display all 24 figures as a group rather than scattering them. The effect comes from the crowd.
- After 24 December the figures carry on as table decoration or gift packaging.
Do I have to cut the figures out?
No. All parts are die-cut and can be pressed out by hand.
Is adhesive included?
Yes, 24 double-sided adhesive dots are supplied. The die-cut parts themselves need no extra glue.
How big are the bags?
9 x 20 x 5.5 cm with a standing base – room for chocolate, small toys or rolled-up notes.
Does the calendar come filled?
No, the contents are up to you. That is exactly what makes it personal.
What age is it suitable for?
Kindergarten children manage with a little help, school-age children on their own. Because of the small parts it is not intended for children under three.
