This 3D rocket greetings card is a card you fold into a model. The front shows a retro rocket lifting off against a pale blue sky on an orange background, with the printed German lettering «EINEN GUTEN START» underneath. You write your message inside, and the person who receives it folds the sheets into a 3D retro rocket, so card and gift are one and the same.
The finished rocket has a red and white chequerboard pattern, a grey nose cone and white clouds of smoke that act as its base. It stands on its own as a small piece of 3D paper art and carries the idea of full speed ahead, a good choice for anyone wishing someone luck with a fresh start: New Year, a new job, a new flat. The card is produced in Germany.
The card comes in B6 format with four card faces: the cover at the front, space for your own message at the back and three fold sheets in between, printed on both sides. Everything is printed on 240 g premium paper, which feels firmer in the hand, gives clean edges when folded and helps the model stand more steadily. The paper is FSC® certified.

Folding takes about 10 minutes. The three sheets are creased and slotted together with a simple fold-and-slot system that needs no tools. The German folding instructions are included, and the QR code printed on them opens the video guide online.
The difficulty is level 3 of 5, in the middle of the scale: the folding asks for a little dexterity. At the end the rocket sits on its white smoke clouds and stays standing as a 3D model.
The card fits whenever someone is starting something new: the turn of the year, a new job, a move into a new flat, or simply a message for a fresh start. It also works as a birthday card when you want to give more than a few lines on paper.
