This gift box for women is made for anyone with cold feet in winter and a soft spot for a quiet evening on the sofa. Inside you will find handmade cosy socks of sheep's wool in mottled grey, a Christmas tea, a bag of cinnamon stars, a snowman marshmallow, a Christmas fortune cookie and a seed surprise. Nothing has to be put together first: the whole winter evening is already packed.
As a Christmas present for a partner, a mother, a sister, a friend or a colleague, the box works on its own. The socks come in women's size 37–41, while the smaller treats are there to nibble or to brew. Because the colours are kept neutral, the box still suits well beyond the Christmas season. It is packed in the inclusive Wunderle workshop by people with a handicap.
Every product in the box is handmade and sits cushioned in wood wool inside the carton. You can hand over the whole box at once or spread the small items out, for example as surprises through Advent.

The socks are made by hand and knitted from natural sheep's wool. The mottled grey goes just as well with pyjamas as with joggers or jeans. Size 37–41 covers the usual women's range, so you do not have to ask for an exact shoe size before giving the box. Knitted socks like these belong on the sofa, in a chilly kitchen first thing in the morning or in a holiday house with wooden floors.
The gift box is made of kraft card, is recyclable and carries the words hey WOW go green. It measures about 26.5 × 27.5 × 8 cm, so it stays flat to carry or to post.
Once it is unpacked, it does not have to go into the paper recycling: together with the seed surprise it becomes a seed-starting box, and the wood wool from the padding can be used as a firelighter. More of the gift stays useful than just the wrapping.
Put the socks on top if you open the box again before giving it, as they are the centrepiece and usually get unpacked first. A card with a plan for the evening makes the present more personal: brew the tea, pull on the socks, pick a film.
The cinnamon stars, the marshmallow and the fortune cookie are meant to be enjoyed straight away. Since the colours stay neutral, the set also works as a thank you in January or as a winter present with no Christmas reference at all.

In the inclusive Wunderle workshop, people with and without disabilities work side by side, and every gift box is packed there by hand. The kraft boxes with the cut-out lettering «hey WOW – go green!» can be reused afterwards as a seed-starting box, and each one comes with a little seed surprise.
