Christmas fortune cookies are the kind of small gesture that always works in the run-up to Christmas: you hand over a cookie, it gets broken open, and a festive saying appears inside. This set holds five fortune cookies by Wunderle, each one wrapped on its own in festive foil. enjoymedia puts the five cookies together, so you have a handful ready to pass around.
The foil carries the word XMAS along with motifs borrowed from the Christmas tree: a toadstool, a star, a candy cane and a red bauble with a four-leaf clover. Every cookie therefore looks like Christmas before it is even opened, and it sits well on a laid table, inside an Advent calendar or as an extra tucked into a larger present. The set is made for anyone who wants to surprise colleagues, friends, hosts or the family with a small attention.
You get five Christmas fortune cookies, each in its own foil wrapper. One cookie weighs about 6 g, so it is a bite for a moment rather than a large portion. The taste is crisp, with a fine vanilla note. Because each cookie sits in its own foil, you can take one out and leave the other four in the set.
- 5 individually wrapped Christmas fortune cookies
- Net weight per cookie about 6 g
- Foil with XMAS lettering and Christmas tree motifs: toadstool, star, candy cane, red bauble with clover
- A festive saying in every cookie, drawn from more than 100 different ones
- Crisp, with a fine vanilla note
- Packed in the Wunderle workshop by people with and without disabilities
The sayings inside the cookies come from a pool of more than 100 different texts. Some are touching, some are funny, and which one is hiding in which cookie only becomes clear once the cookie is broken open. That is exactly the appeal: everyone cracks their own cookie and reads out loud what is written inside.
In company it quickly starts a conversation, at a Secret Santa round it gets a laugh, and over Advent coffee it makes for a short quiet moment. Because each cookie is wrapped separately, you can pass one on without touching the rest of the set.
The set fits anyone who wants to give a small attention during Advent without turning it into a big present. Five cookies are enough for a team, a Secret Santa round or the family around the table.
Typical occasions are the office Christmas party, Secret Santa, St Nicholas Day, a little something to bring along when visiting, table decoration on Christmas Eve, or filling for Advent calendars and St Nicholas boots. The fortune cookies are packed in the Wunderle workshop by people with and without disabilities.
- Put one cookie on each place setting and the decoration turns into a small reading-out-loud round.
- A single cookie fits into a door or pouch of a self-filled Advent calendar.
- For Secret Santa, lay the cookie on top of the parcel so the saying gets read first.
- Only open the foil when you hand the cookie over, then the saying stays a surprise.
