Mulled Wine Gift Box with Spices and Surprise Bag

The contents come in three parts. The Christmas elk surprise bag is a brown paper bag with a drawn reindeer face, a red button for a nose and the printed line Kerzen, Kakao & Tannenduft... Weihnachten liegt in der Luft. What is tucked inside stays a surprise until the bag is opened. Alongside it you get the bottle of mulled wine and the mulled wine spice.

• Made in Germany
• Sold only to people aged 18 and over

The Glühfranz is the part of the box that warms you from the inside: heat it gently, pour it out, add a blanket. The spice is meant for homemade creations on cold winter evenings, for anyone who prefers to mix their own brew. That way the person you give it to has both: a bottle for tonight and the spice for an evening later on.

The packaging is part of the present. The box is made of kraft card and carries the die-cut lettering hey WOW go green, with wood wool padding the contents inside. Once it has been unpacked, nothing needs to go into the paper recycling: the base has die-cut slots so the box can be used again as a planting box, and every box comes with a seed surprise. The wood wool can be used as a fire starter for a fireplace or fire bowl.

Mulled wine likes to be warm rather than hot, so do not let it boil while heating or the aroma suffers. When you give the box away, the printed surprise bag is the eye-catcher and needs no wrapping paper, and neither does the box itself. For a Secret Santa round at the office, add a note about the alcohol content. Keep the wood wool and the seed surprise until the planting season starts.

What does the mulled wine gift box contain? The Christmas elk surprise bag, a bottle of Glühfranz mulled wine and a mulled wine spice, cushioned with wood wool.
