These dog tricks training cards are a set of 100 cards full of exercises and instructions for dog tricks. Each card names one trick, states a difficulty level and explains the exercise step by step. The cards are printed in German, so this edition suits German-speaking households. According to the box, the content runs from the basics through to advanced tricks.
If you want to practise tricks with your own dog, these dog training cards keep an idea within reach. You draw a card, read the steps and spend a few minutes on it, with no screen involved. It is simple: simple tricks that turn your dog into a superstar. That makes the set a gift for dog owners which actually gets used instead of sitting on a shelf.
The set arrives in a cardboard lidded box with a green background and illustrated dogs. Inside you will find the cards in green, blue and orange. The box measures 16 x 10 x 3.5 cm and weighs 235 g with its contents, and the material is paper.
- 100 cards with exercises and instructions for dog tricks
- Each card with a trick name, a difficulty level and a step-by-step explanation
- Cards printed in German
- Card colours green, blue and orange
- Material paper
- Box 16 x 10 x 3.5 cm, 235 g

Each card states a difficulty level, so you can sort the pile by level. The cards for Bleib (stay) and Winken (wave) are among them, for example.
Winken shows nicely how the cards are meant to work. The trick assumes your dog already knows paw and high five. That way you can lay out a sequence from the 100 cards that matches where the two of you stand, rather than practising at random.
The card set is aimed at dog owners, at people with a puppy and at anyone who wants to practise tricks with their dog. As a gift it fits a birthday, Christmas, the arrival of a new dog, or a small something to bring along when you first visit a household that has just gained a dog. Since the set needs no technology and no accessories, it is an uncomplicated present.
Draw a card before the walk and take it with you, then you have a short exercise ready while you are out. If you prefer to work through things in order, lay the cards out by difficulty level and move up from the basics.
With each card, read first whether it assumes other commands, as Winken does. After practising, the cards go back into the lidded box, so the set stays together and nothing goes missing. Warning notices come with the packaging, worth a quick look before you pass the box on. The cardboard box is recyclable as PAP 20 once it has served its purpose.
