This bonsai tool set brings together 13 pieces for shaping, repotting and tidying small trees. From fine cuts on shoots and leaves to loosening roots, there is a suitable tool for each step, and everything goes back into the jute pouch afterwards.
A good bonsai mostly needs time, calm and regular care, plus tools small enough for delicate work. That is what the scissors, tweezers and mini shovels are made for. As a starter kit the selection covers the basic jobs on small bonsai, while experienced growers use it as a compact second set. Made in China.

The scissor blades are made of stainless steel and give exact, clean cuts on branches, leaves and roots. Three pairs of scissors are included: one measuring 12 cm and two leaf scissors of 10.5 cm each.
The dibber carries an engraved measuring scale, so you can read off planting depth instead of guessing. For picking up seeds and seedlings there are two pairs of tweezers, one curved and one pointed. The jute bag measures 19.5 x 15 cm, closes with a drawstring and keeps every piece together, in a drawer or in a rucksack.
The set is not limited to bonsai. The mini shovels, spoon shovel and mini rake help with repotting young plants and working in small pots, the seedling lifter moves young plants, and the dibber spaces seeds evenly in a seed tray. Wipe the cutting tools with a damp cloth after pruning and dry them well. For heavier residue, lukewarm water and the small brush are enough, so you can skip chemical cleaners. One drop of plant oil on the scissor pivots once or twice a season keeps them moving smoothly.
Bonsai are best pruned in early spring before new growth or in late summer, and fine shoot tips can be pinched regularly during the growing phase. The tweezers are for gripping, not for levering. Keep the jute bag somewhere dry and airy. As a gift the set suits anyone starting out with bonsai or keeping a windowsill full of small pots.
