Red LED Advent Calendar Candle Gnome

The candle is marked from 1 to 24, one number for every day of the run-up to Christmas Eve. Nothing has to burn down along the way: the candle lights up electrically, the LED flame sits at the tip, and the gnome keeps its full height throughout.

The body of the candle is made of paraffin wax in red, with a white beard and a white heart. Here are all the details at a glance:

• Height 30 cm, diameter 9 cm
• Material: paraffin wax
• Red colour, white beard and white heart
• LED flame at the tip
• Day markings 1 to 24
• Timer: 6 hours on, 18 hours off
• 1 CR2032 button cell included
• Weight 290 g
• IP20 rating, for dry indoor rooms only
• Individually packed

The candle works with a timer: it shines for 6 hours and then stays off for the following 18 hours. After that the cycle starts again on its own, at the same time every day. You do not have to remember to switch the light back on in the evening, because the gnome is glowing again the next day.

The candle is made for families, for anyone who likes a Scandinavian look at Christmas and for everyone who prefers candlelight without an open flame. As a small gift for the first Sunday of Advent or for a Secret Santa exchange it arrives individually packed and ready to hand over. The IP20 rating means it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than on a balcony, a terrace or in a garden house.

Put the candle somewhere you walk past every day, next to the Advent wreath, on the sideboard or on the hallway chest of drawers. Because the timer repeats its cycle of 6 hours of light and 18 hours of rest on its own, the gnome lights up at the same time each day by itself.

If you are giving it as a present, note that 30 cm of height and 9 cm of width need a large gift bag or a tall box. The CR2032 button cell is part of the set, so the candle is complete when you hand it over.
