This Christmas card in A6 format shows the words Merry Christmas in white script on a dark green background, framed by a wreath of red and pink blooms with green sprigs. The motif skips the usual Christmas symbols: no fir tree, no reindeer, just a floral ring that puts the message in the centre. If you are after a colourful, contemporary greetings card for the run-up to Christmas, this one stands out among the classic red designs.
A matching envelope comes with the card, so it is ready for the Christmas post. It is designed and made in Belgium. What you receive is a single card rather than a set, which is handy when you want one good greeting for one particular person.
The dark green background gives the flowers real presence: red and pink glow against it, while the green sprigs tie the blooms into a round frame. In the middle sits Merry Christmas in white script, loosely flowing and easy to read. The wreath makes it festive, the clean lettering keeps it modern.
The printed wording is in English: two words that are understood across the German, French and Italian speaking parts of Switzerland. That makes the card an easy choice for a family or a work team where several languages come together.
A6 measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm, the familiar postcard size: big enough for the wreath and the lettering to carry, small enough for any card box or a pinboard. With the envelope included, the card goes straight out with the Christmas post.
- A6 format, 10.5 x 14.8 cm
- Motif: wreath of red and pink blooms with green sprigs on a dark green background
- Merry Christmas in white script, printed in English
- Included: 1 card and 1 envelope
- Single greetings card, not a set
- Made in Belgium
The card works for anyone who likes their Christmas greetings colourful and up to date: friends, family, neighbours, godparents or the team at work. Flowers and greenery have broad appeal, so you do not have to think twice about whether the design will land well.
Besides the classic greeting sent by post, it makes a good card to go with a present: lay it on top or slip it under the ribbon so it is clear straight away who the parcel is from. It also suits early December greetings and people who live too far away for a visit.
Plan your Christmas post early in December and the greeting will arrive well before the holidays. If you are sending several cards at once, a short list of names and addresses keeps anyone from being forgotten.
Used alongside a gift, you can either seal the envelope or leave the card open on top so it gets read right away. And once the festive days are over it need not go in the recycling: pegged to a length of string with other cards, it becomes decoration for next December.
What is included? One Christmas card in A6 format and a matching envelope. This is a single card, not a set.
How big is the card? It is A6 and measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm, the classic postcard size.
What language is the printed wording in? The front reads Merry Christmas and the wording is printed in English.
Where is the card made? The card is designed and made in Belgium.
Can it be used as a card to go with a gift? Yes. Instead of posting it, you can place it straight on the present, with or without the envelope.
