This Christmas card in A6 format sends a colourful, modern greeting rather than a traditional one. The front shows a dusky pink background framed all round by white blossoms, green sprigs and small berries, with merry x-mas set in white lettering in the middle. The printed wording is in English.
You receive one card together with a matching envelope, so there is nothing else to buy: card and envelope belong together. As this is a single greetings card and not a multipack, you can choose exactly the right card for one person, or slip it alongside a present as an accompanying card. The card is made in Belgium.
Instead of fir trees and sleighs, the motif works with flowers. White blossom heads, fine green stems and small berries form a frame around the lettering, which sits freely in the centre. The dusky pink background keeps the design light rather than heavy, and green, white and warm pink sit calmly side by side. The result feels festive without tipping into kitsch. If you like sending Christmas post that does not look like every other card in the letterbox, this motif is a good place to start.
A6 measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm, the classic postcard size: half of an A5 sheet and a quarter of an A4 one. The matching envelope is already included, so you do not have to hunt for one in the right size.
- A6 format: 10.5 x 14.8 cm
- Design: white blossoms, green sprigs and berries on dusky pink
- Lettering merry x-mas in white
- Printed card wording in English
- Included: 1 card and 1 envelope
- Single greetings card, not a set
- Made in Belgium
The card is for anyone looking for a colourful, modern greetings card. It works for Christmas Day itself, for a greeting sent in the middle of advent, and for seasonal wishes to the people you perhaps write to only once a year: relatives, neighbours, godchildren, clients and colleagues. A floral motif appeals widely, so you do not need to know which Christmas style the recipient prefers. And when there is a present under the tree, the card carries the personal words that go with it.
Deal with the card before you wrap the present: at a clear table your lines come out calmer than they do on your lap. If you are sending a lot of Christmas post, gather the names and addresses first and work through all the cards in one sitting, which saves time and means nobody is forgotten. Use the English merry x-mas lettering as your opening and then carry on in whichever language you share with the recipient. As an accompanying card for a gift, tuck it unsealed under the ribbon. And if you want the wrapping to match: a ribbon in sage green or dusky pink picks up the colours of the design.
Is an envelope included? Yes. The delivery contains 1 card and 1 matching envelope.
How big is the card? It is A6 format, which means it measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm.
What language is the greeting printed in? The front carries merry x-mas in white lettering, so the printed wording is English.
Do I get a set of several cards? No, this is one single greetings card with one envelope.
Can it be used as a card to go with a gift? Yes. It can serve as an accompanying card for a present.
