This Christmas card shows the Moomin family decorating the Christmas tree: the characters stand in the snow around the tree, a few presents are already waiting underneath, and a night sky full of stars stretches above the scene. The design is printed from licensed original artwork, so you get the familiar, gentle visual language of the Moomin world. On the front, the words «Merry Christmas» appear in a flowing script.
It is a single portrait folded card measuring 12 x 17 cm, not a set. The inside is left unprinted so your own words have room, from a two-line greeting to a longer message. A ribbed brown kraft paper envelope is included, and the card itself arrives individually wrapped in a clear, recyclable OPP sleeve.
The front tells a small story rather than showing a single symbol: tree, snow, presents, stars. That makes the card calm and narrative, and it holds the eye longer than a card carrying only lettering. The «Merry Christmas» wording is set in script and stays in English, even if you continue in another language inside. The back carries the Moomin logo.
The portrait format of 12 x 17 cm sits between a small greetings card and a large sheet: roomy enough for a few sentences, compact enough for the letterbox or to tuck in with a parcel.
- Portrait folded card, 12 x 17 cm when folded
- Inside pages blank and unprinted
- Back with the Moomin logo
- Ribbed envelope in brown kraft paper
- Printed on FSC-certified paper
- Individually wrapped in a clear, recyclable OPP sleeve
- Supplied as 1 folded card and 1 envelope
The card works for anyone who grew up with Moomin or follows the characters today: friends, godparents, colleagues, grandparents. Because the design is friendly rather than loud, it carries warm family greetings just as well as messages you want to keep a little more reserved.
During advent you can send it as a first greeting of the season, and at Christmas itself you can slip it in alongside a present. With the inside blank, you set the tone yourself: a thank you, a short look back over the year, or simply a few lines of good wishes.
If your message is going to run long, draft it on a scrap of paper first, because a blank inside page forgives no crossing out. Start your lines on the right-hand inside page and leave the left one free; the card then looks tidy even when you write only a few sentences.
Dark ink stands out better than pale ink on the brown kraft paper of the envelope, and it is worth writing the address a little larger, since kraft paper gives less contrast than white stock. Used as a gift card, it can be slid under a ribbon or laid flat on the parcel. And if you open your message in English, you simply pick up the script on the front.
What is included? One folded card and one brown kraft paper envelope. This is a single card, not a set.
How big is the card? Folded it measures 12 x 17 cm in portrait format, so slightly smaller than a sheet of A5.
Is anything printed inside? No, the inside pages are blank. You write the message yourself; the printed greeting appears only on the front.
What language is the printed greeting in? The front lettering is in English and reads «Merry Christmas» in a script typeface.
Can it be used as a gift card with a present? Yes, it works well alongside a present, either in its envelope or simply placed on the gift.
