LED Hot Air Balloon Tree Decoration with Santa

The balloon itself is striped in red and white, and the basket underneath holds the two figures: Santa and a small fir tree. The height is 30 cm, plus a chain of 25 cm for hanging. It weighs 300 g and arrives individually packed.

The LED sits inside the balloon, so the body lights up from within. To run it you need two AAA batteries; they are not part of the delivery, so it is worth having a set ready before the first Sunday of Advent.

The timer works on a daily cycle: once switched on, the balloon shines for 6 hours, then stays dark for 18 hours and starts again at the same time. Switch it on at 5 pm and it stays bright until 11 pm. The IP20 rating means the balloon is made for dry indoor rooms and not for a balcony, terrace or garden.

This hanger fits homes where the Christmas tree tells a story instead of only sparkling: families with children who look for the light inside the balloon each evening, and anyone who likes nostalgic Christmas decorations. It also works as a small present during Advent or as a Christmas gift, since it comes individually packed and can be handed over without further preparation. It is a decoration, not a toy.

Start the timer at exactly the hour you want the light to come on each day, so the 6 hours on and 18 hours off match your evenings. At 30 cm tall the balloon needs more room than a bauble, so pick a free spot for it. The chain for hanging is 25 cm long and already attached to the balloon. Away from the tree it suits a window frame or the coat rack, as long as the place stays dry. As a present, hand it over in its individual packaging with a set of AAA batteries.
