Forget messy paint parties. The 10 Little Pot Monsters Birthday Set by Radis et Capucine is the smartest kids' party activity you'll find: just CHF 2.50 per child for a complete craft-and-plant activity with a living take-home souvenir that keeps growing for weeks.
Each child decorates their own real terracotta pot with fun monster stickers (no brushes, no paint, no disaster!), plants organic grass seeds, and takes their personal pot monster home. Within 3–5 days, green "monster hair" sprouts — and the best part? You can give the monster a haircut, and the hair grows right back!
- 10 real terracotta pots (5.5 cm diameter) — genuine clay, no plastic
- 15 coconut soil tablets (3 cm) — just add water to expand
- 3 monster sticker sheets — eyes, mouths, teeth to stick on
- 10 wooden name labels — personalise each pot
- 5 packets of organic grass seeds — certified Bio with germination guarantee
Box: 17 × 24 × 9 cm | Weight: approx. 1 kg | Made in France by Radis et Capucine
- Decorate terracotta pots with monster stickers
- Write names on wooden labels
- Rehydrate coconut soil tablets with water
- Fill pots with soil
- Sprinkle grass seeds on surface
- Water lightly, place on a windowsill
- Wait 3–5 days — green "monster hair" sprouts!
- Give the monster a haircut — it grows back!
- Day 3–5: First sprouts appear
- Day 7–10: Full "monster hairdo" — thick, green grass
- After that: Cut and regrow — weeks of fun!
- Best conditions: 16–23°C, keep moist, bright spot (windowsill ideal)
- Total time: 30–45 minutes (15–20 min decorating + 10–15 min planting)
- Pro tip: Pre-rehydrate the coconut soil before the party to save time
- Setup: Just lay newspaper on the table — done
- Much cleaner than paint crafts: Stickers instead of paint = no stain stress
- Only water needed — everything else is in the box
- After the grass: Replant pots with cress, mini succulents, or herbs
How many children can participate?
Exactly 10 — one pot per child.
What age is it for?
Ages 4–10, ideal for 5–8 year olds. Not suitable for children under 3 (small parts).
How long does the activity take?
30–45 minutes total. With pre-hydrated soil, as little as 20–30 minutes.
How fast does the grass grow?
First sprouts in 3–5 days, full "monster hair" in 7–10 days.
Is it messy?
Far less than painting! Stickers instead of paint, coconut soil is clean and easy to handle.
Are the seeds organic?
Yes, certified organic seeds with a germination guarantee.
Can you cut the grass and it regrows?
Yes! "Monster haircuts" are the highlight — the fun continues for weeks.
