Small Gold Christmas Crackers, Pack of 8

The pack brings two designs together: gold lengthwise stripes and gold stars on a cream base, each cracker tied with a gold ribbon. That lets you lay a table with a little variety even though every cracker belongs to the same range.

• 8 Christmas crackers per pack
• 8 entertainment scrolls with trivia, jokes and conversation starters
• Length per cracker: 12 cm
• Weight: 32 g
• Two designs: gold lengthwise stripes and gold stars on cream
• Hand filled, with a snap when pulled
• Paper made from recycled paper, FSC certified
• Plastic-free design, product and packaging recyclable
• Gilded range by Talking Tables
• Packaging labelled in English

Each cracker measures 12 cm. That is the saucer-sized format of the Gilded range, intended for smaller place settings rather than for a long festive table. The whole pack weighs 32 g, so the crackers are easy to hand round or carry along to someone else's table.

They are made from paper that comes from recycled paper and is FSC certified. The design is plastic-free, and both product and packaging are recyclable. The cream and gold palette stays understated and looks settled next to colourful china as well as plain white.

These crackers are built for smaller settings. They work for coffee with friends during Advent, for an afternoon tea with a cake stand, for the dessert course after dinner or for any afternoon where people stay seated and keep talking. Because cream and gold do not read as strictly Christmas, you can bring them out beyond the festive days themselves.

They also make a small gesture on their own: one cracker per place, one cracker as a little something to bring along to coffee, or one tucked in with a packet of tea.

• To pull a cracker, each person takes one end; the snap comes as it opens.
• Read the scrolls out loud, it gets the whole table talking faster.
• Alternate the two designs so a pattern runs along the table.
• Set out one cracker per place with the gold ribbon facing up.
• Pass the trivia questions round the table so everyone gets a turn.
• For afternoon tea, lay a cracker beside each cup and the table is dressed without any further decoration.
