A pepper corer and a chilli corer in one set, made for the most fiddly part of the prep. The large corer lifts the whole core out of a bell pepper from the top, while the small one clears the seeds from a chilli that has been cut open. The large tool has a cylindrical stainless steel blade with a serrated cutting edge and a green flower-shaped handle top. The small one is made of two slim green arms held together by a yellow ring.
Both pieces are green and silver, and together they weigh 100 grams. The set arrives on a card with a stand, so it can be handed over without any extra wrapping.
You get two corers in different sizes, matched to pods of different size and shape. After use, the small one sits inside the large one, according to the product image in the opening of the handle top.

With the large corer you place the blade on the top of the pepper around the stem, press it in, turn it and pull the core out. The pepper stays whole, ready for stuffing. According to the manufacturer, the sharp metal blades hollow out peppers quickly and with little effort.
For chillies you cut the pod open, slide the small corer inside and lift the seeds out. The manufacturer states that it opens in seconds to remove the seeds, which pays off when a whole batch of jalapeño poppers is on the menu.
This set gives you the right tool for each size: one for the big pepper, one for the small hot pod. The manufacturer names stuffed peppers, jalapeño poppers and meal prep as typical uses.
