The first pair is grey with brown heels and toes. It shows Moominpappa with his top hat and telescope, plus his suitcase, the kit of someone who wants to know what lies beyond the horizon.

The second pair is petrol blue with red heels and toes. Here Moominpappa stands at a ship's wheel, picking up the sailing theme of the box. The «Nordic Buddies» lettering sits on the sole.

The socks are made in one size and officially given as EU 40-45. Nordicbuddies adds, from its own experience, that they also fit larger feet. So if you are buying for someone in shoe size 46, you do not have to put the set aside straight away.

The material mix is 60% cotton, with 33% polyester, 4% nylon, 2% elastane and 1% elastodiene. The set is aimed at Moomin fans among men, at fathers, sailors and anyone who likes stories about setting off.

Because the box is already designed as a present, you need no wrapping paper. A ribbon around it or handing it over as it is, both work. For a birthday, Christmas or Father's Day it is the easy option when you want something personal without long deliberation.
