Pippi Longstocking Thermal Bottle 550 ml

The build is quickly explained: unscrew the plastic cap to drink on the move, and take the whole lid off for refilling and cleaning. A silicone sealing ring sits in the lid, and the handle on top is there for carrying the bottle or attaching it.

• Capacity 550 ml
• Double-walled stainless steel, hot or cold for up to 6 hours
• Temperature range -20 to 100 °C according to the manufacturer
• Drinking closure: plastic screw cap
• Removable lid with silicone sealing ring
• Handle on the lid
• Weight 190 g
• Official Pippi Longstocking licensed product by Nordicbuddies, Finland
• Made in China

Bottle, lid and handle are kept in a calm sand beige to light brown, while the inside shows bare stainless steel. On one side Pippi lifts her spotted horse «Little Old Man» above her head, on the other she rides him. The lettering «Pippi Långstrump × NordicBuddies» completes the design.

The bottle does not belong in the dishwasher, as the heat can damage the seals and the insulation. Wash it by hand instead. It helps that the whole lid screws off: bottle, lid and drinking cap can be cleaned as separate parts, and the silicone sealing ring in the lid stays in plain sight.

The stainless steel body is rated for a temperature range of -20 to 100 °C according to the manufacturer. The decoration is built to last as well, with a high quality print and durable colour.

Fill it with hot tea and you can pick the bottle up straight away, because the outer wall does not take on the temperature of the drink. 550 ml covers the journey to work and the break that follows. Hook the handle onto the outside of a rucksack and the main compartment stays free for lunch.

For the walk to school the weight of 190 g is easy to carry. To refill on the move, unscrew the whole lid rather than just the cap. As a gift it works for a birthday, Christmas, the start of school or as a small something to bring along, and anyone who knows Pippi spots the motifs straight away.

How much does the bottle hold? 550 ml, which is enough for a large mug of coffee and a refill.

How long does a drink stay hot? Up to six hours hot and just as long cold, thanks to the double-walled stainless steel.

Can the bottle go in the dishwasher? No, the heat can damage the seals and the insulation. Wash the bottle, lid and cap by hand.

How do I drink from it on the move? Unscrew the plastic cap in the lid and drink straight from the opening. For refilling, take the whole lid off.

Does the outside get hot? No, the outer wall does not take on the temperature of the drink and stays comfortable to hold.
