Moomin Love Take-Away Mug 450 ml

The mug arrives in a kraft carton box with a window, printed with Moomin Take Away Mug. That means you can hand it over as it is, without extra wrapping. Mug, lid and sleeve at a glance:

• Reusable take-away mug with a 450 ml capacity
• Mug made of PLA, cream to light beige
• Screw-on PLA lid in pink
• Grip sleeve in pink silicone, printed MOOMIN and Nordic Buddies
• Silicone recyclable according to the manufacturer
• Weight 200 g
• Carton packaging with a window
• Made in China

The mug and the lid are made of PLA. The material looks like plastic, but according to the manufacturer it contains no fossil-based plastic at all and is based on a renewable material instead. The grip sleeve is silicone and, according to the manufacturer, recyclable. The lid screws onto the mug so that, according to the manufacturer, nothing spills while you carry it.

On the front, Moomin and the Snork Maiden hug each other, with pink hearts above them. The pale cream background lets both characters stand out, while lid and sleeve echo the pink. The sleeve carries the words MOOMIN and Nordic Buddies, and because the design shows two characters who belong together, the mug is easy to buy twice so each of you has one.

Commuters fill the mug at home in the morning and take it along on the train or into the office. With 450 ml, one filling covers a large coffee, two smaller cups or your mid-morning tea. In a cafe you can pass the mug across the counter before you order instead of taking a single-use cup. And Moomin fans keep their favourite characters close through the busiest hours.

Put the mug next to your bag the evening before and you will not forget it in the morning. Screw the lid down fully before packing so nothing sloshes out on the way. As a present, pair it with a bag of coffee beans, loose tea or a voucher for a favourite cafe. For a couple, two mugs make a lovely set, with the same hugging motif for both. The window in the carton box shows the motif before anything is unwrapped.
