This travel neck pillow starts life as a plush toy: a dachshund with dark brown fur, a light brown muzzle, a black nose and long floppy ears. Open the zip on its tummy and it becomes a plain brown, U-shaped neck pillow. According to the manufacturer, the change takes just seconds.
The dachshund neck pillow is made for people who spend a lot of time on the move. Train commuters, frequent travellers and dog lovers get two things in one: a dachshund that travels along in plain sight and a supportive pillow for your neck when you want to rest. As a lightweight plush travel pillow, it also makes a welcome gift before the holidays.
The idea behind the Zip & Flip range is quickly explained: the zip sits underneath, on the dachshund's tummy. Open it, flip the plush dog, and you are holding a U-shaped pillow. Head, ears and tail disappear, leaving a simple brown pillow without a dog's face that sits around your neck.
Going back works the same way: unzip, flip, and the dachshund returns with its raised tail and red collar. A clip hangs from the collar. In the product photo, the dog is attached to a wheeled suitcase with it and lies on top, ready to become a pillow again.
The cover is made of soft polyester spandex, and the filling consists of polystyrene (PS) microbeads that feel foam-like according to the manufacturer. The clip on the collar is made of polypropylene (PP), a plastic, not metal.

The dachshund suits anyone who sits for long stretches while travelling: daily train commuters, frequent travellers and anyone planning their next holiday. At 220 g including packaging it is light, and in dog form it can ride along on a wheeled suitcase via its clip, as shown in the product photo.
As a gift, it pleases dog lovers and dachshund fans as much as anyone with wanderlust. It works for birthdays, Christmas, Secret Santa or as a travel gift just before the holidays. Because it only comes with a paper bellyband, you can see who is inside before unwrapping.
Give the dachshund in dog form and show how the zip on its tummy works when it is unwrapped: the transformation is the real highlight. If you hand it over before a trip, clip it straight onto the recipient's suitcase, just as the product photo shows.
On the go, keep it in dog form until you are seated: on the suitcase it stays easy to spot, and only on the train or in the waiting area does it become a pillow.
