Find a spot with good light, put the baubles in front of you and start with the large areas: hat, body, fir tree. The black lines show where each colour belongs, so you do not have to draw anything yourself. Use the tip of the brush for small dots and eyes.
The round shape takes a little getting used to. Turn the bauble in your hand rather than tilting the brush. With five colours the two motifs can look very different, from bright red and green to quieter shades of blue.
