This cat quiz is a card set with 100 quiz questions all about cats. Every card asks one question and offers three answer options, A, B and C. All questions and answer options are printed in German, so this is the German edition of the set. The box says it plainly: the ultimate cat quiz, 100 questions for every cat lover.
The set is made for people who live with a cat or simply like cats. It works at a game night or on the gift table at a birthday or at Christmas. The maker puts it like this: are you a cat expert? Then prove it with this quiz game, 100 questions and answers about everything you should know about cats. It is a question set, not a board game with a track, tokens and scoring.
The 100 quiz cards come in a lift-off cardboard box with a pink background and illustrated cats. Cards and box are made of paper and board.
- 100 quiz cards all about cats
- Each question with three answer options, A, B and C
- Questions and answer options printed in German
- Made of paper and board
- Lift-off cardboard box, pink with cat illustrations
- Packaging 11 x 7 x 4 cm, weight 185 g according to the manufacturer
The manufacturer images show three of the questions: why do cats stare at us while we go to the toilet? Why do cats love laser pointers? And what is the name of the cat in Alice in Wonderland? For that last one the options are A Cheshire Cat, B Laughing Cat and C Cuddle Cat.
Those examples show how varied the 100 questions are. Because three answer options are printed with every question, people who are unsure can still have a guess. That usually starts a debate around the table about which of the three is right.
The box measures 11 x 7 x 4 cm and weighs 185 g with its contents, according to the manufacturer. That makes the quiz roughly the size of a small purse, so it fits into a handbag or a suitcase. The lid of a lift-off box comes away without tearing anything open, and the same box is what you hand over when you give the quiz away.
The manufacturer notes on the packaging that this is not a toy and that the set is not suitable for children under three.
Take the box along when you are travelling anyway. At this size it comes with you on holiday, to a restaurant or on a family visit without taking up noticeable space.
As a gift for a cat lover the set needs very little effort. The illustrated box barely needs wrapping and works as a dinner-party token, a secret-santa pick or an extra inside a birthday or Christmas parcel. The one thing that matters is that the person reads German, because the cards are printed in German.
How many questions does the set contain? There are 100 quiz questions about cats, each one on its own card.
What language are the cards printed in? German. Questions and answer options are printed in German throughout this edition.
How many answer options are there per question? Three, marked A, B and C.
How big is the box? It measures 11 x 7 x 4 cm and weighs 185 g according to the manufacturer, so it fits into a handbag.
Does the quiz work as a gift? Yes, as a small present, a secret-santa gift, or for a birthday or Christmas. The manufacturer states that it is not a toy and not suitable for children under three.
