Brown Ceramic Light House for an LED Light

The facade is brown with a wood look, so the house recalls a small timber cottage. White window frames and a white door add clear accents, while the yellow flower boxes under the windows bring a dash of colour. The pitched roof closes the house off at the top, with a round window set into the gable.

Because the window openings and the gable window are cut out, the house turns into an eye-catcher once there is light inside, standing out clearly in a dark room.

The house is made of ceramic and takes up little room at 11 cm tall, whether on a sideboard, a shelf or the dining table. The key details at a glance:

The ceramic light house is for anyone who likes Scandinavian home decor and a cosy feel at home. Collectors of light houses get a classic shape here, with a pitched roof and a warm brown tone. As a small gift to bring along it is handy enough to carry to a dinner or a visit during Advent.

Through Advent and at Christmas it sits among fir sprigs, candles and stars, and in autumn and winter it adds light to early evenings. As it carries no outright Christmas motif, it can stay on display all year.

Put the house where you can actually see the glow: on a shelf at eye level, on a sideboard or in the middle of the table. In a darkened room the cut-out windows and the round gable window come into their own.

Several houses at different heights make up a small scene, and a little moss, a few fir sprigs or some stars alongside are enough. Use an LED light inside, as open flames do not belong in this house. As a present it suits anyone who likes to bring a bit of light into the home in winter.

How big is the light house? It is 11 cm tall, so it fits on a sill, a shelf or a table.

What is the house made of? Ceramic. The facade is brown with a wood look, and the window frames and door are white.

What light source goes inside? The house is made for an LED light. Tea lights with an open flame are not intended for it.

How does the light work? The windows and the round gable window are cut out, so the light from inside shines outwards.

Does it make a good gift? Yes, it works as a small present for Advent, for Christmas or simply for someone who likes decorating.
