Tattoo Advent Calendar Christmas Workshop for Kids
This product will be released on 21 October 2026
This tattoo advent calendar for children is an advent calendar that works entirely without sweets. Behind each of the 24 doors sits a temporary stick-on tattoo, and from 1 to 24 December a new motif appears every day. The selection mixes festive Christmas images, winter illustrations and motifs that count among the SIOOU bestsellers, so the designs still appeal once the holidays are over.
The calendar is built like a book that you open out. The doors are spread across the two inside pages and are not arranged in numerical order, so each morning starts with a short hunt for the right number. For parents, godparents and relatives it is an alternative to the classic chocolate calendar that still brings a small surprise every day.
Every door reveals one temporary tattoo. The motifs range from festive Christmas scenes to wintry illustrations and designs from the SIOOU bestseller range. Because the doors are not laid out in number order, you only find out which image comes next once the book is open.

Applying one needs nothing more than a little water. You place the motif on the skin, dampen it and then peel the paper away. After that the tattoo stays visible for 2 to 7 days according to the manufacturer, so it keeps its owner company for several days rather than a single afternoon.
According to the manufacturer the ink is soy-based, produced to French cosmetics standards and dermatologically tested. The manufacturer also lists the tattoos as vegan and made without animal testing.
The cover shows a Christmas elf in front of the shop window of a toy workshop, with presents and a fir garland, in warm reds, golds and greens. Open the calendar and the inside page brings Father Christmas, a teddy bear and a small robot in among the doors.
The packaging is labelled in French, as «Calendrier de l'Avent de tatouages éphémères». No language skills are needed to use it: the numbers from 1 to 24 and the pictures speak for themselves. The manufacturer produces the calendar in a limited quantity.
Let your child open the door in the morning and apply the tattoo straight away, so the motif comes along for the whole day. The calendar also works as a small gift in early December or for St Nicholas Day, especially when there is already plenty of chocolate in the house.
If grown-ups want to join in, the same calendar exists as a separate item in an adult version with a winter night design, so parent and child can open their own door side by side each day. After 24 December the opened book and its illustration still make a pretty piece of Christmas decoration.
What is behind the 24 doors? Each door holds one temporary stick-on tattoo. Together they make 24 motifs for the days from 1 to 24 December.
How are the tattoos applied? With a little water: place the motif on the skin, dampen it and peel the paper off.
How long does a tattoo last on the skin? Two to seven days, according to the manufacturer.
What language is the packaging in? French. The doors are numbered, so the calendar works without any French.
Is there a version for adults? Yes, as a separate item in an adult version with a winter night design.
SIOOU is a small French company from the Lyon area that has been designing and making temporary tattoos since 2013. The designs come from French artists – tattooists, illustrators and painters – and range from fine black linework to colourful illustrations and gold. The tattoos go on in seconds with a little water and are made with soy-based ink to French cosmetics standards. Alongside single designs, the range includes themed sets for parties, holidays and special occasions.
