Retro Record Player Tree Decoration

The case stands open, the way portable record players were folded out for listening. The red lid shows on the inside, and below it sits the light blue platter with the record. On the outside the case is brown and decorated with golden patterns, which gives the small object real depth.

From the front you look straight onto the platter with its record, from the side onto the brown and gold patterned case. The red lid stands behind it like a little stage and brings extra colour between the green branches.

At 7 cm long, 7.5 cm wide and 8 cm high, the decoration is a little bigger than a small bauble while still being easy to place. It is made of glass, a material that is fragile and therefore prefers calm hands, both when you dress the tree and when you take the decorations down.

• Christmas tree decoration made of glass
• Dimensions: 7 x 7.5 x 8 cm (L x W x H)
• Shaped like an open suitcase record player in retro style
• Record on a light blue platter
• Red inside the lid, brown and gold pattern outside
• Gold-coloured hanging cord
• From the Sass & Belle Christmas collection
• Hanging decoration, not a toy

For music fans and vinyl collectors this ornament is a gift that is understood at once. It suits the weeks of Advent, a Secret Santa exchange and works as a small addition to a record or a concert ticket.

On the tree this music decoration tells more of a story than a plain bauble, and it hangs just as well on a wreath, a garland or a branch in the window.

Hang the decoration on a sturdy branch, where the glass has support and takes fewer knocks. The motif works best seen from the front, so choose a spot at eye level.

As a present the little record player goes well with a record or a concert ticket, and in a Secret Santa round it stands on its own. Fragile glass has no place within reach of toddlers: this is a decoration, not a toy.

What is the decoration made of? It is made of glass and is meant as a hanging decoration, not as a toy.

How big is the ornament? It measures 7 x 7.5 x 8 cm (L x W x H), slightly larger than a small bauble.

How do I hang it on the tree? A gold-coloured hanging cord is part of the decoration, so it goes straight over a branch.

Which colours does the record player have? The case is patterned in brown and gold outside, the lid is red inside and the platter is light blue with a record on it.

Is it a good gift for music fans? Yes, it suits vinyl collectors, Secret Santa gifting and small gestures during Advent.
