This recycling station is a set of three sorting bags made from washable kraft paper, so you can separate waste right where it is created. Each bag holds 35 litres. Side by side, the three form a compact sorting system that fits in the kitchen, in the office or on the balcony. Brown, grey and black are easy to tell apart, and each bag carries a white symbol with a matching label.
It solves kitchen waste sorting without bulky bins, which makes it handy for a first flat, for a shared household or for anyone short on floor space. Six bamboo poles keep the bags upright, carry handles make the trip outside easier, and the kraft paper is washable. The whole set weighs 0.6 kg.
The brown bag shows a leaf symbol with the German word Papier, the grey one a bottle symbol with Plastik, and the black one a glass bottle symbol with Glas - the printed labels are in German. Everyone in the household sees at a glance what goes where. If you collect other materials, the bags work just as well for bottles or packaging of all kinds. And because they are large and light, they also serve as a laundry sorter.
The washable kraft paper is tear-resistant, water-repellent and hard-wearing, which makes it suitable for outdoor use too. The integrated bamboo poles provide high stability: the bags stand firmly on their own or connected, full or empty.
- 3 sorting bags in washable kraft paper, 35 litres each
- Colours: 1 brown bag, 1 grey bag, 1 black bag
- Size of one bag: 36 cm long, 22 cm wide, 45 cm high
- Three bags side by side: 66 cm wide
- 6 bamboo poles included
- Velcro fastening for flexible connection of the bags
- Carry handles plus an extra grip on the bottom
- Large opening for easy filling and emptying
- Weight of the set: 0.6 kg
The timeless, space-saving design suits many rooms: next to the kitchen units, under a desk in the office, out on the balcony or in the garden. It works in a camper van as well, because it is light and the Velcro lets you arrange the bags to match the space you have. If there is only a narrow gap, simply place the bags separately in different spots.
Join the bags with the Velcro fastening when you want one fixed sorting station, and separate them again as soon as you only need to take one fraction outside. The grip on the bottom helps with emptying: hold the carry handle at the top and the grip underneath, then tip the contents out in a controlled way. The large opening makes filling easy, even with bulky packaging.
A damp cloth is usually enough for cleaning; bags that have seen heavier use can go in the washing machine. As a housewarming present or a gift for moving day, the set is used straight away - add a few kitchen helpers and the moving-in gift is complete.
