This birthday card is a single A6 postcard that carries birthday wishes with a hand-painted watercolour motif. On the front a blue elephant stands in the grass, and a small grey bird wearing a party hat sits on its back. Beside them the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY! appear in colourful letters in yellow, pink, blue and green.
The card is made for children and grandchildren, and for anyone who likes a warm birthday card with an animal motif. The back is white and blank apart from a small logo in the bottom left corner, so the whole space is yours, whether you write three lines or a long birthday story. It is printed on high-quality 300 gsm paper and made in Germany.
The motif is painted by hand in watercolour. The blue elephant stands in the grass, and the little grey bird on its back wears a party hat, which turns the pair of animals into a small birthday party. The greeting HAPPY BIRTHDAY! sits beside them in yellow, pink, blue and green.
The words are printed in English, so they are understood in multilingual families without any translation. The motif was painted by hand with watercolours by the illustrator Hannah Siehoff from Vreden in Germany.
The card comes in the classic A6 postcard format and measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm. You receive one single postcard: not a set, not a folded card and without an envelope. It weighs 6 g, and you can send it through the post or tuck it in with a present.
- Postcard in A6 format, 10.5 x 14.8 cm
- Printed on high-quality 300 gsm paper
- Weight 6 g
- Front with blue elephant, bird in a party hat and the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
- Back white and blank, with only a small logo at the bottom left
- Motif painted by hand in watercolour
- Made in Germany
- Included: 1 postcard
The card suits a birthday, a children's birthday party and good wishes of every kind. It is made above all for children and grandchildren who enjoy getting post with an animal motif on it.
Adults who like animal motifs and painted illustrations are just as happy to receive it. As the sender you get much closer with a few handwritten lines than with a quick message, and the A6 size fits neatly into any collection of kept cards.
Before you start, think about how much you want to say: the blank back has room for a short greeting and equally for a longer look back at the past year. Adding the date and your name at the end turns the card into a small keepsake later on.
You can send the card by post or tuck it in with a present. If several people are sending wishes, divide the back so that everyone writes a line. Children are welcome to add a drawing of their own next to the message. If you write cards often, it is worth keeping two on hand, one for the next children's party and one for the family.
Is an envelope included? No. You receive a single A6 postcard without an envelope.
How big is the card? It is A6 format and measures 10.5 x 14.8 cm.
Can I write on the back? Yes. The back is white and blank, with only a small logo at the bottom left.
Is it a folded card? No, it is a single postcard, not a folded card and not a set.
Who is the card suitable for? For children and grandchildren, and for anyone who likes a birthday card with an animal motif.
