A set of 40 colouring pencils that holds each of its 20 colours twice over. Every shade comes with a twin, so there is always a second pencil of the same colour to hand, and two children can work on one picture without fighting over the single red. The pencils are made of wood and carry the abeec print along the barrel.
The colour range runs from white through yellow, orange, red and pink to green, blue and violet, and finishes with brown, grey and black. The bright primaries are covered, and so are the quieter tones needed for hair, tree bark or an evening sky. All 40 pencils arrive sharpened, so the set is ready to use straight away. Recommended for ages 3 and up.

Twenty colours are enough to finish a whole picture: yellow, orange and red for warm areas, pink for flowers and dresses, green and blue for grass, water and sky, violet for shadows and invented creatures. Brown, grey and black handle outlines, tree trunks and roads, and white brings a pale tone into the row.
Because every colour appears twice, the most popular shades stay in use for longer, and one mislaid pencil does not end the drawing session. The second half of the set can go to a second child, so both draw with a full palette of 20 colours.
