This LED boxing pad is a wall-mounted trainer that combines music with light-up target areas to make a movement game. Once the music starts, the areas light up and your child tries to hit them in time with the beat. A pair of kids' boxing gloves is included, so your child can get going straight away. The pad sits flat against the wall and takes up no floor space.
The set is made for children who like to move and is recommended for ages 3 and up. It trains reaction, coordination and stamina, while your child simply experiences a game of music and lights. Three speed levels, a start/pause button and a volume control sit directly on the pad, so your child can begin a round without help. Charging runs through USB-C, and the cable comes with the set.
The set arrives with the pad, the gloves, the cable and the mounting strips. The gloves are cut for children's hands, the cable matches the USB-C port on the pad, and the hook-and-loop strips fix it to the wall. The included instructions show the steps.
- Boxing pad, 31.8 x 27.8 cm
- 1 pair of kids' boxing gloves, about 19 x 15 cm
- USB-C cable for charging
- 4 hook-and-loop strips for wall mounting
- Instructions
- 3 speed levels, start/pause button and volume control
- Recommended for ages 3 and up
You start the pad with the start/pause button, then the music plays and the target areas light up. Your child punches the lit areas and follows the rhythm of the track. The three speed levels make the game faster or slower: slow for getting the hang of it, fast once the punches land reliably. The volume control turns the sound down as far as the flat requires, and the start/pause button breaks off a round at any moment.
The pad measures 31.8 x 27.8 cm and stays flat against the wall, while the gloves are about 19 x 15 cm. All the controls sit on the pad itself, so there is no separate remote to keep track of. Mounting is a job for an adult: four hook-and-loop strips are included and the instructions show the steps. Because the pad hangs on the wall, the floor stays clear even in a small bedroom. For charging you plug in the USB-C cable, so no batteries are needed.
The set is aimed at active children and is recommended for ages 3 and up. It is not intended for adults, as both the pad and the gloves are sized for children. As a gift it works for a birthday or for Christmas, and on a rainy day it is a straightforward way to burn off energy indoors.
Mount the pad at a height where your child can reach the areas comfortably with a fist. Start on the slowest level and move up once the punches land. Taking turns, with one child boxing while the other counts hits, turns it into a game for two. Before giving it as a present, charge the pad once over USB-C so the first round can start right away.
