This Tibetan singing bowl is hand-hammered by Nepalese artisans in a workshop in Kathmandu and carefully painted. Each piece is unique. The bowl is made from a traditional alloy of seven metals (gold, silver, mercury, copper, iron, tin and lead), considered sacred since antiquity.
When you strike the bowl or run the mallet along the rim, a deep, harmonious sound with rich overtones is produced. These vibrations promote the brain's transition from beta to alpha and theta waves — similar to deep meditation. You don't just hear the vibrations, you feel them physically — a unique experience of deep relaxation.
- Singing bowl — hand-hammered, 11.5 × 11.5 × 8.5 cm
- Wooden mallet — for warm, full tones
- Cushion — prevents unwanted resonance and protects the bowl
- Lokta box — handmade Nepalese gift box made from Lokta paper
- Meditation — the sound helps calm the mind
- Yoga — to open and close practice
- Sound therapy — vibrational massage for body and mind
- Chakra work — harmonising energy centres
- Stress relief — proven calming effect on the nervous system
