Tetris Duel brings back the classic block game, but not as a leisurely solo round, but as a direct duel on the television. Every block counts here. Those who stack neatly stay in the game. Those who slip up will see their playing field fill up to the top faster than they would like.
Thanks to the HDMI dongle, the game can be plugged in and started immediately. No console, no installation, no setup marathon. Two wireless controllers are included so you can compete directly against a second person. Alternatively, a CPU opponent is also available for solo matches.
The principle is familiar and unchanged. What's new is the competitive pressure. If you remove several lines at once, you send so-called ‘garbage’ blocks to your opponent's playing field and throw them off their rhythm. Every move can turn the match around.
