Stylophone is the legendary pocket synthesizer, invented in 1967 by British engineer Brian Jarvis and manufactured by Dubreq in England. The iconic instrument is played by touching a printed keyboard with a metal stylus, producing its unmistakable retro sound. David Bowie immortalised the Stylophone on «Space Oddity», and it was also used by Kraftwerk, John Lennon and numerous other artists. Since its relaunch in 2007, the range includes the classic S-1 as well as modern analogue synthesizers, drum machines and theremin variants — with over 4 million units sold worldwide.
