This set contains two stainless steel tongue cleaners for daily tongue cleaning as part of your oral care. Both have an ergonomic U-shape, stay flexible and therefore suit any mouth size. They arrive together in a cotton bag with a drawstring that carries the Fairtrade Cotton seal.
Because there are two pieces in one pack, the set suits couples or flatmates who each want their own tongue cleaner. And if you are moving your bathroom towards zero waste, here is an alternative to the usual plastic tongue cleaners: stainless steel instead of plastic, plus a cotton bag and a grass paper carton.
Both tongue cleaners sit together in the cotton bag with the Fairtrade Cotton seal. Everything comes in an eco carton made of grass paper with a hygiene seal, printed in German and English with Zungenreiniger | Tongue Cleaner and the line Ich bin aus Graspapier! The carton and the bag also carry the printed words revitalise your smile naturally.
- 2 tongue cleaners in 100% medical stainless steel, in a cotton bag with drawstring and Fairtrade Cotton seal
- Ergonomic U-shape, handle ends with grooves
- Stable, long-lasting design
- Eco carton made of grass paper with hygiene seal
- Pack size 19 × 9 × 1.3 cm, weight 75 g
- Handmade in India
Both tongue cleaners are made of 100% medical stainless steel. The U-shaped curve sits between the two handle ends, and those handle ends are finished with grooves. The design is built to be stable and long-lasting, and because both cleaners stay flexible, different mouth sizes get along with them.
The pack measures 19 × 9 × 1.3 cm and weighs 75 g including contents, so it is roughly postcard-sized and just 1.3 cm deep. Two metal tongue cleaners take up very little room, even inside the bag.
Tongue cleaners are usually made of plastic. This set uses stainless steel instead and is a zero-waste alternative. The packaging follows the same idea: cotton with a Fairtrade seal and a carton of grass paper that introduces itself with the line Ich bin aus Graspapier!
The two tongue cleaners are made in India, fairly and sustainably by hand, drawing on the tradition of Ayurveda. That makes the set interesting for anyone who cares about sustainability in the bathroom, and for anyone drawn to ayurvedic traditions.
Two pieces in one pack mean you can keep one and pass the other on. That turns the set into an easy little present when you are invited to friends, or into a Secret Santa gift that gets people talking at the office.
Thanks to the flat format, the carton also works as a filler for a homemade Advent calendar or as a small reward tucked into a larger gift parcel. If you like presents with a sustainable angle, you get three talking points at once here: stainless steel, Fairtrade cotton and grass paper. You can also hand the set over in its cotton bag.
