The Organic Lion's Mane Mushroom Kit makes it easy to cultivate fresh Hericium mushrooms at home. This species is commonly known as lion’s mane, hedgehog mushroom or bearded tooth mushroom and is valued for its tender, fibrous texture and mild flavour, often compared to seafood. The kit includes a fully prepared, pre-colonised substrate designed to allow harvesting within just a few weeks.
From a culinary perspective, Hericium erinaceus is well suited to pan-fried dishes, soups or vegetarian recipes where texture and bite are important.
