This set contains four magnetic mushroom bookmarks, each with a small smiling face on its stem. You clip one over the edge of the page, the cap peeks out beyond the edge, and you find your place again straight away. According to the manufacturer, the bookmarks stay put and add a touch of fun to every read.
They suit bookworms, students juggling several books at once and anyone who loves mushroom and woodland motifs in the cottagecore style. The little set works as a small gift, for a Secret Santa, as an advent calendar filler, as an autumn treat or as an extra with a book present.
The packaging card holds four bookmarks in two colour versions. Two mushrooms have a red cap with white spots, two a brown cap with beige spots. On all of them the stem is light and shows a friendly face with two eyes and a mouth. The figures were designed by the KDT design team.

Each bookmark is folded and has two magnetic halves. You slide it over the edge of the page so that one half sits on the front and the other on the back. The two halves hold the bookmark in place on that page. The packaging card sums it up by saying it firmly clips to the page.
The mushroom cap peeks over the edge, so you can spot your bookmark before you even open the book.
According to the manufacturer, each bookmark measures approx. 4.5 × 2.5 × 0.6 cm, so every mushroom is a little smaller than a matchbox. The bookmarks are made of vinyl magnet and paper. The manufacturer describes them as cute, secure and easy to use.
The set comes on a card of approx. 7 × 16.5 cm and weighs 20 g including packaging.
With four bookmarks you can mark several places at once, such as the current chapter, a favourite passage and the appendix. The two colour versions help you sort, for example red for open questions and brown for quotes you want to find later.
You can also split the set: one red and one brown mushroom for you, the other pair for a friend reading the same book. With a book present, clip a bookmark to the first page so it is already in use when the book is unwrapped. At 20 g including the card, it is also a light advent calendar filler.
