The Hello Kitty & Friends Sticker and Colouring Set is a craft box holding over 1000 stickers, a colouring pad and four felt tips, all packed into a card box with a carry handle and a window. It is the kind of present that rescues a rainy afternoon without a screen being involved.
The whole Sanrio family is here: Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Pompompurin and the Little Twin Stars. A sheet of letters and numbers for labelling comes along too. This officially licensed Sanrio set is made in Spain.
The colouring pad shows the Sanrio group on the cover sheet and waits for colour inside. The four felt tips in pink, yellow, red and blue are themselves printed with Sanrio motifs. The sticker rolls hold the characters in square frames, to tear off one by one, and several sticker sheets bring Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi and the rest of the friends. A further sheet has letter and number stickers in rainbow colours.
The box belongs to the set: card with a plastic handle, a window and compartments inside for the pad, the pens and the stickers. Everything goes back in after use and travels along, on holiday, to grandma's or in the car.
The distributor gives the measurements as 21.5 x 6.0 x 22.0 cm, without saying whether the item or the packaging is meant.

My Melody is the rabbit in the hood, Kuromi her rival with the skull, Cinnamoroll the white dog with the long ears. Keroppi is a frog, Badtz-Maru a penguin in a bad mood, Pompompurin a golden retriever in a beret, and the Little Twin Stars are twins from the edge of the Milky Way.
The letter and number sheet labels school books, marks the lunch box and the water bottle or puts a name on a hand-drawn card. The letters appear several times and in different colours, so the sheet lasts a few rounds. The rolls explain the high count: single motifs tear off without using up a whole sheet, handy for reward charts, an advent calendar or handing out among friends.
Cap the felt tips straight after colouring, otherwise they dry out quickly. Stickers do not belong on wallpaper or varnished wood, where they only come off with residue. Keep the letter sheet rather than using it up at once.
For travelling, one sticker roll is enough and the rest stays at home. Carry the box flat so the compartments do not get muddled. As a gift it suits children of nursery and school age who handle pens on their own, and anyone who collects Sanrio.
How many stickers are included? Over 1000, spread across several sticker rolls and a number of sheets.
