Framed Snoopy Print with Doghouse Motif

The image shows one of the best known Peanuts scenes: Snoopy with Woodstock on his red doghouse. The pale blue background lifts both characters, while the black paintwork and the light mount give the colourful motif a quiet setting.

The print belongs to the Magpie x Peanuts collection built around the comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, whose signature appears in the artwork. It is printed with organic bio-mass inks that are UV resistant and non-fade, and it is made by hand in the United Kingdom.

The artwork is printed on 250 g Unicorn White stock, which is FSC certified and made with 100 % recycled post-consumer waste. The 5 cm ice white mount is hand-cut and gives the motif room to breathe towards the edge. The frame is 18 mm MDF, painted black and glazed with acrylic plexiglass.

The square format does not need a large empty wall: it works above a desk, in a hallway, next to a bookshelf or in a child's room. The plain black frame sits quietly next to other pictures, so you can line the print up in a row or build a small gallery group around it.

As a present it suits a housewarming, a birthday and Christmas, especially for people who grew up with Snoopy. The certificate of authenticity turns the print into something worth keeping.

Place the picture so the centre of the image sits at about eye level, which is where the square format looks calmest. Next to portrait-format pictures it sets its own accent, and in a row of several frames the spacing is best kept the same throughout.

When giving it as a gift, hand over the certificate of authenticity with it, since it belongs to the print. If you want more impact, pair two square Peanuts motifs and hang them side by side as a small series.
