Six rubber-coated steel spheres, one very strong magnet – and suddenly you are building shapes instead of getting on with your work. FLUXONS is the fidget set by Feel Flux: not a toy with rules and instructions, but a handful of spheres that sits on your desk and keeps ending up in your hands.
What makes FLUXONS different
The steel spheres are finished with a matte rubber coating. It feels soft, dampens the clacking and gives every sphere its own colour. Underneath sits solid steel, which is why they feel so substantial in the hand. Add the Feel Flux neodymium magnet in grade N52 – the same one used across the brand's products – and you get an attraction you notice the moment the first sphere snaps into place.
Six spheres, countless shapes
Arrange the spheres around the magnet into flowers, towers and chains. Pull one off and you feel the resistance, then hear the pop as it snaps back. That cycle of pulling, releasing and rearranging is what turns the set into a permanent fixture next to the keyboard. Own two sets and you can combine them into much larger structures.
Part of the Feel Flux family
Feel Flux became known for copper and aluminium tubes in which a magnet sphere sinks as if in slow motion. FLUXONS reuses the same component – the N52 magnet – and gives it six spheres to play with. Instead of physics to watch, this is physics to handle: attraction, resistance, release. Anyone with both on the desk will end up combining them.
Three mini games
Feel Flux suggests three games for two players or a group. In "Uri Geller" one player sets a colour sequence for the other to rebuild. In "Black Hole" it is a race to dock your sphere onto the magnet first. And in "Pétanque" the spheres are rolled across the table – closest to the magnet wins. The rules are negotiable anyway; the set is wide open for your own ideas.
The box doubles as a magnet shield
FLUXONS ships in a carrying box with built-in metal inserts. They contain the magnetic field, so the set can be stored and carried without the magnet grabbing everything nearby. Handy in a drawer, handy in a travel bag.
As a gift
For people who need something in their hands while thinking, for desks that hold nothing but paper, and for anyone whose idea of a stress toy so far has been cheap plastic. FLUXONS arrives ready to give – the box is part of the product.
Tips for use
- To build, put the magnet in the middle and dock the spheres around the outside
- Pull the spheres off slowly – that is when you feel the magnetic force best
- Put everything back in the box for storage; the metal inserts shield the field
- Keep the magnet and spheres away from bank cards, storage media and pacemakers
- The magnet is very strong and does not belong in the hands of small children
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is included? Six rubber-coated steel spheres, one Feel Flux magnet, the carrying box with magnet shield and a user manual.
Are the spheres magnetic themselves? No. They are steel and are attracted by the neodymium magnet – the magnet is the single part that brings the force.
Does the magnet fit other Feel Flux products? Yes, Feel Flux uses the same N52 magnet throughout its range. If you already own one, FLUXONS gives you a second.
Which colours are the spheres? The set comes in six different shades, as shown in the product photos.
How do I clean the set? Wipe with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry. The rubber coating does not like aggressive cleaners.

Feel Flux designs and manufactures magnetic objects in Hungary that turn a law of physics into something you can hold: Lenz's law. At the heart of every piece is an N52 neodymium sphere that glides through a precisely turned copper or aluminium tube and sinks as if in slow motion. That single idea has grown into a family of products – from the Flux Original with its suede sleeve and wooden stand, through the Skill and Spin models, to FLUXONS, a fidget set of rubber-coated steel spheres. Everything is hand-crafted in the EU and arrives in a sturdy gift box.
